This year we have even more vendors sharing all the best that Ocean County has to offer including the Lakewood Police Department\, the Sheriff’s Office\, Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority\, New Jersey Forest Service\, Fulfill\, Georgian Court University\, The Ocean County Library\, and Lakewood Resource and Referral Center. \nThis year we are proud to have the support of several local sponsors including the Jewish Federation of Ocean County\, Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission\, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus\, SR Play\, Ocean County Soil Conservation District\,  and Lishmor. Learn how to select appropriate species of plants for your garden based on your own garden soil. Workshop led by Becky Laboy\, M.Ed. Education Outreach Coordinator\, Ocean County Soil Conservation District. \n  \nWorkshop #2: Build an Olla for Watering the Garden – Learn about the Olla system\, the ancient watering practice using clay pots\, and how it can help your garden beds and containers become “self-watering.” Build an olla for a small garden area or planter (all materials provided free). Workshop led by Shari Kondrup Watershed Education and Outreach\, Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority. \n  \nThese workshops are for participants ages 16+ with a suggested donation of $5 per person.  All materials will be provided. Registration is required as there is a limited number of slots available. \n
